Delightful Wednesday- Christmas- Digital Delights

Happy Holidays!!!

Counting down, nine more days until Christmas, can you believe it! It's approaching fast!

For the month of December Jane and I have been showcasing Christmas every Wednesday for this month at Digital Delights!
This here is Christmas Saffi! She happens to be one of my favorite Christmas images of Wendy's! I just love her! Wendy also has another image like this but the reindeer is doing the splits and Saffi happens to be sitting on the reindeer! It's my other favorite image! Her name is Reindeer ride Saffi! She is just as cute as this one! The sentiment I used is from Winter fun sentiment set!

This will be my last post of the year! Jane and I will be back next year with more themes every month for our Wednesday Post at Digital Delights! It truly has been a fun year, and we have been honored showcasing Digital Delight images!

See you next year and Merry Christmas!!!

Hugs, and happy crafting!

Delightful Wednesday- "Christmas" at Digital Delights

Happy Holidays!!!

I am so excited, Christmas is just around the corner! It is my most favorite time of the year! :) Hmm, now I can't seem to get that song out of my head, lol!
Jane and I chose Christmas for our Delightful Wednesday post for this month at Digital Delights!
I have slowly been working on Christmas cards throughout the year, but there always seems to be a few more cards for me to make as the time grows closer!
I love Wendy's fun sentiments! This one comes from Winter fun sentiment set! This little mouse seems to have gotten himself into a little bit of trouble! I thought this sentiment was perfect! There are 8 really nice sentiments on this digi! The image is called Christmas mouse! Isn't he a cutie!  So perfect for the holiday! I used a red glitter gel pen to add a little bit of sparkle to the peppermints! I also used gold for the belt!

This will be my last post of the year so I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas! See you next year!

Hugs, and happy crafting!
Sandy.

My Sheri Crafts- #171 Christmas Spirit

It's my turn to pick the challenge at My Sheri Crafts! I am so excited, Christmas is my favorite time of the year! :)
This challenge I have asked that you make vintage or antique Christmas! It could be a card or project! Anything goes!
I found this image online when I typed in free Christmas coloring page! I was looking for a manger scene so this worked out perfectly! The paper is from The Paper Studio called, Piece on Earth Vintage! I used Martha Stewart Pine, and Arched Lattice! Distressing was a given so I used Tim Holtz, Vintage Photo! You probably can't see it in the photo but I used glitter gel pens on some of the image to give it a little sparkle!

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas! This is our last post at My Sheri Crafts for this year!
Hugs, and happy crafting!

Delightful Wednesday at Digital Delights- Music

For the month of November, Jane and I decided our monthly theme shall be music for our Delightful Wednesday post at Digital Delights!
One of my grandsons birthday is coming up in December so I thought this would be a perfect time to get a card made for him! I used Drummer Darian and Happy Birthday Scroll  found at Digital Delights by Louby Loo! Wendy is always trying very hard to come out with new images all the time so go check it all out!

I need prayers for my grandson baby Nathaniel! He was born three months early and is in critical condition! He has been improving daily but he is at a stage 4 on his left and right brain ventricles! He needs all the prayers he can get!
Thank you so much!!!

Hugs, and happy crafting!

My Sheri Crafts- #170- Thanksgiving

This go around at My Sheri Crafts my fellow DT sister Kristi has asked that everyone make anything Thanksgiving! We should get a lot of participation with this one! :)
I have used a Tilda image! I just really love this Indian girl!
I feel like my last couple of posts have been very simple! Usually not like me! So much has been going on here! My DIL and my son just had a baby born three months early! The baby is in critical condition! I have been watching their kids while she re-cooperates from having a c-section! We now have their youngest one here spending every day and night with us! He is a year and a half years old so you could just imagine me not getting to much done while he is here! He is such a cutie though! :)
If all goes well, the baby will stay at the hospital for at least three months! Please keep baby Nathaniel in your prayers!!!

Hugs, and happy crafting!

My Sheri Crafts- #168- Tag You're It

I bet you can guess what the challenge at My Sheri Crafts is this go around! Our Leader Sheri has picked the theme and it is to make a tag! I never make tags, but had thought to make a simple Christmas tag! I actually will use this! ;)
I found the image online actually by typing in tags! All I had to do for it was to color it with my Copics and I added a black matting around the shape! You can't see it on here, but I did use glitter gel pens on some of it to give it some shine!

I hope to see you this go around!
Hugs, and happy crafting!

My Sheri Crafts- #168- Halloween Treats

My good friend and DT sister Raquel has asked that we make Halloween Treats for this challenge at My Sheri Crafts! Whether it is a bag, a box, a tag, anything you would use for treats goes! :)
I made a little treat bag! I actually went all over looking for mini paper bags and couldn't find a single one! Then while we were out grocery shopping, my DH asked for a wine bottle bag for me to use! He is a clever one! I only used Spellbinders, Scalloped Circles, and Standard Circles, Large, and Verve Stamps, Pennant Trim on this treat bag! It was very easy to make!

Anyway, this will be a very fun challenge and I hope to see you there!
Hugs, and happy crafting!

Delightful Wednesday- May Flowers- using Mary Shillelagh

Happy Wednesday! :)

Today it's my turn to write the post at Digital Delights for "Delightful Wednesday"! Jane Savage and I take turns with the Wednesday posts!
I decided to use Mary Shillelagh found at Digital Delights by Louby Loo! I was very intrigued on trying a different shade of color on her hair! Hair is always the hardest to color for me, so I hope it turned out ok!?!?
She just looked like a chick with style who needed highlights in her hair! ;)

I used:
Spellbinders- Petite Ovales Large, and Lattice Motifs
Memory Box- Mini Scallops
Martha Stewart- Bangle Chain Trim
Copics, Scraps, Pearls, and a Flower

Hugs, and happy crafting!
Sandy.

My Sheri Crafts- #157- It's Graduation Day

Today my good friend and DT sister Glenda has asked us to make a Graduation card/project for this by weekly challenge at My Sheri Crafts!
I have two granddaughters that will be graduating kindergarten this year so I used a delightful image from Digital Delights by Louby Loo called Flower Power Daisy Graduates!
I wasn't sure about the school colors, but one of my granddaughters favorite colors are these bright colors and I think that's what matters at this age anyway!
I used my score tool to make the lines on the paper!

Here are the ingredients on what I used on this card:
Spellbinders- Small Classic Inverted Scalloped Circles, Standard Circles, Large- Nested Pennants
Viva Decor- Pearl Pen- Cream
Copics

Hugs, and happy crafting!
Sandy.

Happy Wednesday!

This is what I made for my post at Digi My World!
Have you ever been in the mood to brighten someone else's day?!?! I saw one of the images from Nurses Heal and knew exactly what I wanted to do with it!
I think this card would be just what the doctor ordered, LOL! It made me smile while making it!
The image is found by typing in chibi in the search bar at the Digi My World Store! I just thought she was the cutest thing! I just couldn't resist writing the saying either, lol!

Here are the ingredients on what I used to make this card:
The Paper Studio- Grid Lines- Blue
Stampabilities- Baby Blue (ink)
Spellbinders- Labels Fourteen
Copics, Scraps, Ribbon, Thin Black Sharpie, and Pearls

Delightful Wednesday- Flowers

For the month of May, Jane and I decided to to add a flower, or flowers for our Delightful Wednesday post at Digital Delights! Isn't the old saying, "April showers bring May flowers"! :)
I used the delightful flowering watering can by Digital Delights by Louby Loo! Such a sweet image! I tried to do something a little bit different this time by cutting out the base of the card to change the look! I think it looks better in person, but you know how that goes!

Here is the ingredients on this card:
My Minds Eye- Bella Rose
Spellbinders- Fleur De Lis Squares
Martha Stewart-Pine
Memento- Tuxedo Black
Copics, Scraps, Ribbon, Pink Pearls, Gems, and a Flower

Happy Scrapping,
Sandy.

My Sheri Crafts Challenge- #156- Birthday Bash

Our DT sister Marge has asked that we make a birthday card with a matching envelope for this challenge! I have to admit, I suck at making cards! After what seemed like hours, and a lot of wasted paper, I gave up and decorated one of my already made envelopes! I just don't seem to have the talent that many of you have in making my own!
Here is an up close picture of just the card!
Birthday cards are usually very much needed so I was happy with this challenge! I used a S.W.A.L.K. stamp! They have some really cute stamps!
Anyway, that's it for today! Do pop over to My Sheri Crafts and check out the beautiful birthday cards everyone has made! I would love it too if you participate in this challenge!
Hugs, and happy crafting!
Sandy.

Today I would like to share with you a card I made using the delightful Little Chef found at the Digi My World Store! Who can resist this little guys charm holding pizza! :)
Since the chefs outfit is normally white, my mind went to using my favorite color combo in making this card! White just pops on black! ;)
