Stitch Time!

Happy Saturday to you,

Today at My Sheri Crafts, my DT sister Sue has asked us to create anything that has to do with stitching!
This is a very simple card, but I wanted the background stitching paper and theJustRite stamp to do really come through to help emphasize the stitching theme!
Hugs, and happy Crafting,
Sandy.

Single Rose Card!

This week I decided to give a try at coloring the single rose digi from PCW! It comes with the words, "I love you", but for this card I kept the words off of it! This was my first attempt ever at coloring a rose! It helped with the rose digi being a nice size so I could see the shape easily enough to figure out the shading on it!

Here is a side view of the card!

I used The Paper Studio, Music on Damask paper for the background! The birthday wishes stamp is from Hero Arts! I used Cheery Lynn, Exotic Butterfly (small)! I colored the rose digi with my Copics!

Anyway, that's it for today!

"Besties"- Lavender Challenge

I decided that I couldn't resist in making another card for this challenge! :)
This week at "Besties" Challenge Blog, the theme is to use lavender! I just love the look of Spellbinders Fancy Lattice and I hardly ever remember to use it! :( So... I pulled it out and decided it was time to give it a go again! I just love the look of this sweet Bestie! Well, to be honest, I love Sherri Baldy digis period! The big eyes have me hooked, lol!
I am entering this in the Besties Lavender Challenge!
If you haven't gone to Sherri Baldy's blog, you should go have a look! I myself just found out about her blog and the DT comes up with wonderful inspiration!
Hugs, and happy crafting!
Sandy.

Lavender and Halloween

I am so excited, my friend Sue sent me the link to Sherri Baldy's "Besties" challenge blog which she happened upon recently! :) I just LOVE Sherri Baldy Besties!!!
The challenge this week is to use the color lavender! Immediately I thought of Halloween so I went with it! This witch digi is a freebie that was given away awhile back! :)
I don't think you can tell very much in the picture, but her outfit really sparkles! I also used little tiny gems in a few of the stars in her witch hat which gave it a nice touch I thought! She really was a lot of fun to color! :)
I am entering this At Besties Challenge

Hugs, and Happy Scrapping!!!
Sandy.

I always look forward to Friday's! It means it's time to share another card that I made at Paper Crafting World! :)
This week, I used the Owl Always Love You digi from Paper Crafting World!
I used Madeline Collection 6x6 Paper Stack! I also used Paper Studio Intricate Swirls embossing folder!

Around the words, I used Spellbinders Standard Circles! I also used my Copics to color the Owl!
Every Friday there is a free digi at Paper Crafting World! I hope you go and check it out!

Native American Day!

For this two week time period at My Sheri Crafts, my DT sister Peachy had asked us to make a card celebrating Native American Day!

Of course, the first thing I thought of was to make it a Thanksgiving card! So, here is what I came up with! I guess fall colors are on my brain now, lol!

Head back over to My Sheri Crafts and check out what the rest of my DT sisters have come up with this week! :)

Hugs, and happy crafting!

Gone Fishing!

Today at Paper Crafting World, I made this masculine card using the bear fishing digi from PCW! For so many, including me, masculine cards can be so much harder to create! I had a wonderful time working with this image! :)
Here is another view of it!
My hubby calls these trees and sky a work of art, lol, when all I did was use my dauber and lightly added red, orange, and yellow for the sky, and green on the trees!
Anyway, that's it for today!
Hugs, and happy crafting,
Sandy.

Summer is slowly coming to an end!

Yes, summer is slowly coming to an end, but I just couldn't resist one last beach card! Who could resist this adorable Beach Hippo digi from PCW!

Here is a close up of her! Isn't she a cutie!
The Echo Park Paradise Beach 6x6 paper pad sure did work perfectly for this card! I used Provo Crafts spots and dots embossing folder to give the background behind her a bit of a flair!  I pulled out my Copics, which I LOVE, and added a few beach stickers here and there! It truly was an easy, fun card to make!
Have you seen PCW on facebook yet?!?! It is brand new this week! We would love to see you  "Like" the page! :)

Anyway, that's it for now!
Hugs, and Happy Crafting,
Sandy.
