My Sheri Crafts Challenge #86- Summer Lovin'

This week at http://myshericrafts.blogspot.com/ we were asked to make a project with a summer theme...cards, layouts, altered project, etc. I knew right away I wanted to make an easel card with a drawer! I have been really wanting to make one, but saved it for this theme!

Hmm, what else does my beached theme project need? Yep, I  just had to put shells on it! I did kind of cheat on this one! In the center I used a snowflake die cut because it looked like a captains wheel to me, lol! I found this wonderful free coloring page with the beach scene on it! I really couldn't wait to color it with my copics! I now have this setting on my dresser and it makes me excited for our next vacation!
Hugs!!!!

JustRite Friday Challenge #073 - "Anything But Square"

I couldn't resist, one more card for JustRite Friday Challenge #073 - "Anything But Square"!
Create a shaped card in any shape as long as it's NOT square

I used my Elegant Edges Cricut Cartridge for the shape of my card! I then used JustRite Cling, Harlequin Script Background Stamp Set, and the JustRite, Friendship Nested Sentiment! The image was a free digi from Saturated Canary! My friend let me cut out loads of these flowers from her die cut, but I don't remember what it is called, sorry! :( I used copics to color my image!I just love to color! :) TFL!
Hugs,
Sandy.

JustRite Friday Challenge #073 - "Anything But Square"

For JustRite Friday Challenge #073, they want to see all of us create a shaped card in any shape as long as it's NOT square!
It took me some time in thinking what I wanted to do for this challenge!  I wanted to make a book shaped card, but I didn't have a SB die for it! I decided to try and free hand draw it  instead!

Operation Write House had a free digi stamp awhile back! This little library mouse is one of them! I just thought he was the cutest thing and thought he would go perfect with my book shape! I wanted some flowers from JustRite Stamps to put on the trellis! Of course I used the saying from JustRite stamps too! Anyway, I had fun making this card! Hugs!

JustRite Friday Challenge #072

Over at http://justritestampers.typepad.com/ they had asked everyone to include a 3D gift items or home decor items.
I had so much fun with this one! I was so inspired seeing all of the DT projects this week!
I chose to decorate a tissue box! I thought, "why not"! :) With allergy season upon us, I am sure this would make a lovely, and very practical gift for someone!

I had learned a pretty cool way to use tulle when I was surfing Youtube! I made a flower with it by cutting out layers of scalloped patterns! I cut at every corner of the scallop to make the shape of the flower! Then for each petal, you place the end over the flame of a candle very quickly and it actually will make the ends curl! It is so neat looking! It is really hard to see it, but it is under the flower in the front! It looks like fancy lace surrounding the flower! I just love the look of it! :) Anyway, I hope you enjoy my project as much as I enjoyed making it! Hugs!

JustRite- Plant A Little Love Set
JustRite Cling- Harlequin Script Background Stamp
JustRite Original- Grandma's Doilies Set
The Paper Studio- Intricate Swirl, (embossing folder)

MS- Branch Punch

I used a flower punch, but I don't know the name of it! :( I also used white heat embossing powder on the JR doily stamp in the front!

Tulle, Stick Pin, Ribbon, Lace, Feathers, Pearls and Lace, and Brilliance Pearlescent Sky Blue Ink Pad!

My Sheri Crafts Challenge- #85 Wedding/Anniversary

Happy Saturday everybody!!!
This week at http://myshericrafts.blogspot.com/ we were instructed to make a Wedding/Anniversary card, (white and black with a pop of color)! My Niece just got married so I was so happy to be able to make this card for her! I think she has always favored pink ever since she was little so I made sure I included pink on her card!
My Niece and her Fiance decided to get married by the Justice Of The Peace so I didn't go the formal route in making a card for her! Something really nice, but not to fancy! I sure hope I succeeded! TFL!

Cricut Cartridge- Storybook (pg 57) Fancy Corners
Spellbinders- Labels Eighteen
Fleur De Lis Squares- (the corners)
The Paper Studio- Intricate Swirls (embossing folder)
MS Punch- Layered Arches
Viva Decor- Pearl Pen (cream)

I love receiving comments from you! Go and check out all the other cards on the Design Team as well, and make sure you show appreciation to the Guest Designer!
Hugs!
Sandy.
