February- Delightful Wednesday- Older Digi Month

Since Jane and I are showcasing older digis this month at Digital Delights, I chose to use Ditzy Reindeer from Wendy's DVD collection Vol V! The sentiment is from Christmas Sentiment Set! You can never start to early to make Christmas cards, am I right! ;)
I just love this digi! Hmm, I think I say that to all Wendy's digis, but I really do! Usually I like coloring the scarves with a little bit of pattern to them to give it character, but this one just was calling me to leave it as it is!

Anyway,
Hugs, and happy crafting!
Sandy.

My SHeri Crafts Challenge- #151- Welcome, Spring

My DT sister Peachy has asked that we welcome spring with a spring-themed project.
I hope she doesn't mind, but I made a spring card instead. The sentiment is from Digital Delights by Louby Loo. I did use the pre colored sentiment this time. The paper is from My Minds Eye, called Simply Delightful. I used Cheery Lynn, Exotic Butterflies, Small. I used my 1 inch corner rounder to frame around the image. I lightly inked with Stampabilities, light pink. The card base, I used Creative Memories, Borderline. The image is one of Sheri Baldy's. I colored it in with my Copics. That's about it!

Hugs, and happy crafting!

Oliver

 Happy Wednesday!
Today I would like to share with you a card that I made and posted for my post at Digi My World. This here is Oliver and he can be found by typing in Chibi in the search at the Digi My World Store.
When I saw Oliver, I immediately thought of my eldest son. He always thinks his birthday is no big deal, and that it's just another day. When I saw Oliver, I knew that I had to make a birthday card using him just for my son. I am sure that the significance of him getting another year older plays a big part of this whole not wanting his birthday to arrive. I couldn't resist making this in hopes that it will put a smile on his face. He puts a smile on my face every time I look at him.
I used On The Bright Side paper, and some of my scraps. I then inked the sides with Tim Holtz, Burlap and Tea Dye. I used my Stars Five die from Spellbinders! Colored Oliver with my Copics. The sentiment I made and printed off the computer.

That's it for today!
Hugs, and happy crafting!

Lacy Sunshine- Have A Heart Challenge

I made this card to enter over at Lacy Sunshine Challenge! The challenge is, "Have A Heart"!
I used a Lacy Sunshine image called Belinda's Heart Balloons! Right now she is on sale for $2.00's, but if you are with her Loyalty Program you got her for free! Such a good deal me thinks! ;) What a cutie she is too!!!
I used Spellbinders, Majestic Labels Twenty Five for most of this card! I inked the edges with Stampabilities, light pink, and bright pink! I colored her in with my Copics, and finished it off with using a pen, and a white gel pen! Oh, and the little hearts are from Verve!

Hugs, and happy crafting!

Delightful Wednesday- Older Digi Month

This month it's all about older digis from Wendy's DVD Collection at Digital Delights! There are so many wonderful digis that are retired now! When I was browsing through all the DVD's I immediately fell in love with Claudia the Cow! She is found in DVD Vol 1V! I just LOVE HER!!! :)
I am going to rat myself out on this one! Have you ever refilled a Copic marker to full and when you go to color, it drops big ole blobs of color all over your image?!?! That's what happened on this image! Thank heaven it was a light color, and in the end, I used it as the background! :) This was the first time it had ever happened to me and it probably won't be the last, I am sure!

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed today's!
Hugs, and happy crafting!

My Sheri Crafts Challenge- #150- It's Cherry Pie Day

Today at My Sheri Crafts, DT sister Sarah has asked that everyone either put a cherry, or pie on their card/projects! I didn't know it, but apparently Feb 20th is Cherry Pie Day! Who knew?!?!
I didn't have anything with cherries or pie on any cartridge, etc that I own, but I did find these gems that look like cherries! :) I thought that they would do! ;)
I used Miss Caroline, Howdy Doody, and some scrap paper on this! The image was one of Sheri Baldy's! I used two Spellbinders, Scalloped Circles, and Standard Circles, Large! I colored the image with my Copics, and then used a thin black sharpie to finish the look I was going for!

Hugs, and happy crafting!
Sandy.

Puppy Love

Hello my crafting friends!
Since Valentine's Day is right around the corner, I thought I would share with you one more Valentine card to hopefully inspire you in any way.
This here is an image called Puppy Love found at the Digi My World Store in the Valentine section. There is two images on the file, one is the girl holding a puppy, and then this one. Tomorrow at Digi My World, my DT sister Rene happens to be using the digi with the girl holding the puppy, so you should head over and go check it out!

I just got a new set of stamps and die set that I couldn't wait to use. It is Marianne, COL1307. I used some of the stamps, and the hearts at the bottom of this card. I thought it would sure come in handy and be used a lot! The paper is from The Paper Studio called Crazy For You. I used Memory Box, Scalloped Circles. the image was colored with my Copics. I lightly inked around the image with my Stampabilities, Light Pink. To finish the card off, I used my white gel pen, some gems, and a black glitter gel pen.
That's it for today!
Hugs, and happy crafting!
Sandy.
