25 Days Of Christmas- Day 23

This will be my last post of the 25 Days Of Christmas! I have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the team for the whole month of December at My Paper Crafting! What an honor it has been to be able to participate in it!

Today's theme is Angels! Although this is my last post of the 25 Days Of Christmas, you won't want to miss the last few days leading up to Christmas at My Paper Crafting! I hope you have been able to receive such a huge blessing daily with all of the free digi's, etc! What a wonderful gift to everyone who has taken advantage of all the wonderful free stuff for the whole month of December!
To show off this wonderful bear angel digi, I chose to put her on a tri fold card! Because of the wonderful sentiment that goes with the bear angel, I have sang or hummed, "Angels we have heard on high" for days, lol! I just can't seem to get that song out of my mind now! What a wonderful song to have stuck in my head though! ;)
Well, I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!
Hugs,
Sandy.

My Sheri crafts Challenge# 99- Tis The Season!

Happy Holidays everybody! We are entering the final stretch of the year, which happens to be my favorite time of the year! :) I love Christmas music, the smell of vanilla and cinnamon, happy shoppers! I love looking at Christmas lights, you name it!

This week at My Sheri Crafts, we were to make a card/project that represents Christmas to us! At first I wanted to make a card with family on it! Getting together with my family is such a special time! Of course, there is the nativity theme, which I was wanting to do too! So many decisions that represent Christmas to me! Anyway, in the end, this is what I ended up coming up with!

I am one of these traditional girls that have to use traditional colors for Christmas! The pink on the bow of the Angel is really different for me, but it didn't look right with a red, or a green bow on her so I just went with it!
Anyway, I hope you decide to join us and make something this week at MSC! Go check out what the rest of the DT came up with, and don't forget about the GD too!
Hugs,
Sandy.

I wanted to give the card a bit of color to make it more fun and interesting! I hope you like it!

My Sheri Crafts #97- Mother-In-Law Day

This weeks theme is to create a card using fall colors and 3 embellishments at My Sheri Crafts! I wasn't even aware that there was a MIL day, lol! Here is the card that I made for it! I sure hope she likes it!
I always think of  greens, oranges, reds, browns, and yellows as fall colors! I tried to use a lot of embellishments on this card too!
I tried to think of something different that I normally never think of to do, so I added the doily at the bottom of my card, and then put the birdcage on top of it! To me, it's all about trying new things, or trying to come up with different  things for a  card/project!
Anyway, that's it for now!
Hugs,
Sandy.

JustRite Friday Challenge #084 - "Flower Power"

This weeks theme over at JustRite Inspiration is to add at least 3 flower embellishments  on our card/projects! That was easy enough!
I wanted to keep going and catch up on making Christmas cards, so I thought this would be a good way to accomplish that! I tried out a new fold my friend Sue had shown me! Actually, she gave me sort of a template for me to follow in making my card! Thank you Sue!
I couldn't think of a better way to start off a Christmas card other than using one of the Deck The Halls Ornaments from JustRite Stamps!

JustRite Friday Challenge #083 - "Three's Company"

Well, I have to say, the challenge over at JustRite Inspiration for this week was a bit of a challenge for me! Using three different patterned papers made me a bit nervous! I am so glad to always be pushed though because that's how we grow right!
I have to be honest, this time I was clueless where to begin! I went through all of my 6x6 pads of paper until I ran across the Basicgrey offbeat pad! That's how this card got started! Once I saw the paper, I knew I wanted to use my JustRite Botanical Butterflies stamp set! Well, the rest just seem to come together and this is the end results! I hope you like it!

JustRite Friday Challenge #082 - "Be Supportive"

This week at the JustRite challenge they ask that we create a card/project to show your support to someone OR just a kind word to show someone you care.
I wanted to do something a little bit different this time! I decided to make a male card! Since my Dad is really sick, I wanted to make him a card! My Dad just loves the water! The Ocean, Lakes, it doesn't matter! I thought this card would be perfect for him!

As soon as I heard it was a supportive card, I knew I wanted to use the lighthouse from the JustRite Cling set, Oceanside Oval Medallion Labels! The words on the other hand, I really had to think about what I wanted to say on his card! I goth the sentiment from JustRite Clear, Cast All Your Cares! I am so very thankful that my Dad is a man of faith!!!

Aren't you ready to just snuggle up on the couch and watch a movie together! :)
I couldn't find a pattern to make a popcorn box so I sat down with my DH and this is what we came up with! I hope I am not being to cruel because looking at this picture even makes me start craving to eat it, lol!

JustRite Friday Challenge #078 - Christmas In July

Who couldn't resist making something for Christmas in July at JustRite Inspirtaion!

I had saved an elf shoe pattern I have had for quite awhile now and never have used it! I thought it was perfect seeing as elf shoes SCREAM Christmas! :)

It didn't take much supplies to make it, it just took a bit of time cutting it out and putting it together!
I used JustRite Cling, Vintage Wallpaper Background Stamp on the whole shoe!
I also used JustRite Nature's Nested Sentiments & Verses! It happens to be on sale right now at JustRite Papercraft if anyone is interested!

I was able to use up some scraps! My good friend Charlotte had sent some of her scraps of ribbon, and lace so I also used some of it too! :) I had fun putting pom poms on it!
Inks that I used- Tuxedo Black Memento, and Stampabilities- Christmas green pigment ink!

I am entering this at JustRite Inspiration Challenge!
