Happy Holidays everybody! We are entering the final stretch of the year, which happens to be my favorite time of the year! :) I love Christmas music, the smell of vanilla and cinnamon, happy shoppers! I love looking at Christmas lights, you name it!
This week at My Sheri Crafts,
we were to make a card/project that represents Christmas to us! At
first I wanted to make a card with family on it! Getting together with
my family is such a special time! Of course, there is the nativity
theme, which I was wanting to do too! So many decisions that represent
Christmas to me! Anyway, in the end, this is what I ended up coming up
with!
I am one of these traditional girls that have to use traditional colors for Christmas! The pink on the bow of the Angel is really different for me, but it didn't look right with a red, or a green bow on her so I just went with it!
Anyway, I hope you decide to join us and make something this week at MSC! Go check out what the rest of the DT came up with, and don't forget about the GD too!
Hugs,
Sandy.

What an awesome Christmas card, Sandy. I tend to do more traditional colors too and always plan to break out of my norm, but it's just hard @ Christmas not to do reds/greens! Such a sweet/unique angel too -- never seen one like this before -- could use her for place settings or as an ornament!!!
ReplyDeleteYou Know I love this card and the little angel. Christmas time is time to be honest with yourself so stay with what you like best.

What a great card Sandy! I love your two patterned papers together. I'm not very brave about combining patterns. I need to learn more from you! Your angel is sweet, too!

Sandy, what a gorgeous card! I love the way you made the leaves and branches sparkle. The angle is a wonderful way to upcycle everyday household items too. It's simply brilliant!
