Pink Gems Challenge- #233- Anything Goes

Merry Christmas!!!!! :)
This will be my last post before Christmas so I wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas! Anyone out traveling, I pray for safe travels!
Today starts a new challenge at A Gem of A Challenge!
It is always "Anything Goes", but we were asked on the dt to make anything but a card.

I decided to make Christmas tags. We have gift bags under the tree with our gifts in each one so I thought it would be great to put a tag with our names on them to set on top of each bag. My youngest daughter liked the idea so much that she made two tags for me also so that I have a tag for both of my gift bags under the tree as well. :) The scalloped shape at the bottom of each tag, I used a Dutch Doobadoo Shaped Art and just used a piece to form the scallop. I colored each one with my Copics.
Here are the images I used: Snowman Pom Pom, Snowman Lantern, Cocktail Chilly, and Snow Friends.
Shopping is made more easy now with Polkadoodles selling some of Pink Gem images now. :)

Today at A Gem of A Challenge it's all about Christmas! :)

The cup shape is a Dutch Doobadoo. The sad part is that we can't get Dutch Doobadoos here in the states. I was fortunate that a friend of mine from the Netherlands sent me quite a few. I just love them!

Rudolph Onesie

Today I wanted to share with you  a Christmas card I made using this incredibly cute image called Rudolph Onesie. I just thought it was to darn cute!
I am more of a traditional type of gal who sticks normally to the traditional reds, greens, and silver for Christmas cards, but this one shouted to me to use pink from the start.

There was no other color that would do for me, so pink it is! I think it's because of the Rudolph nose?!?!
I know that some people cringe probably seeing Christmas cards this soon, but for me, it's necessary to start getting them done. Besides, I am a Christmas girl through and through! :)

Christmas Unicorn Santa Sleigh

I just felt like making an extra card today using this delightful image called Christmas Unicorn Santa Sleigh. Pink Gem images are now being sold at the Polkadoodles store, which is very convenient!

I am starting to work on making my Christmas cards for this year finally. My imagination and creativity took over with this one! A winter white Christmas. A sleigh ride. Being outdoors. It all sounds so heavenly!

Winnie White Christmas

Have you ever seen an image you just needed to color?!?!
I just love this Winnie White Christmas- Lantern image from Polkadoodles.

A very good friend of mine recently gave me some Dutch Doobadoo's, which is the shapes you see on this card. I wanted to get a head start on getting some Christmas cards made. I feel so far behind this year. I usually am so on top of things and usually have quite a few made by now. Oh well, it's a start! I am pretty happy with it! :)

Today is my turn at Scrapbook Stamp Society to share something.

I used this adorable image called Lil Miss Sassy Pants, IMG822 1. It happens to be one of the newer release My Besties images that just came out recently. I used a Shaped Art Dutch Doobadoo for the base of the card, and the stand. They are basically stencils that you trace around and cut out. Love them though! The paper is from BoBunny, called Faith Collection. I used a Cheery Lynn die called, Exotic Butterflies, and colored the image with my Copics.

Color It Create It Show It Off- Monster Birthday

Today starts a new challenge at Color It Create It Show It Off.
This will be my last post as I am leaving the team. I am still on My Besties International Challenge, and Scrapbook Stamp Society. I just wanted to condense what was on my plate because I am also on the new release coloring team, and  on Lil Patch of Crafty Friends DT. Trying to make my life a little more manageable!

With having 4 grand kids that are boys, this will be perfect for any of them to give on their birthdays! These monsters are kind of fun!

My Besites International- March- Girls with Big Hats/Hair Pretties

Today starts a new challenge over at My Besties International Challenge. It always is, "Anything Goes", but the theme is Girls with Big Hats/Hair Pretties.

I used this delightful image, IMG802 2. This image happens to come two ways. With or without candy canes in her purse. I chose without the candy canes so I could use it without having to be a Christmas card.
I used the colors red, white, and black which happens to be my favorite color combo in a card. It just looks so classy all together no matter how they are used in a design. You just can't go wrong with these colors in my opinion. :)

It is my turn today to share something I have made at Scrapbook Stamp Society!

I ran into the problem at Christmas wanting to send a Christmas card to my hubby's nephew and found pretty much all my cards were to girly. My Besties International Challenge- "Baby It's Cold Outside"

Happy New Years!!!
Today starts a new challenge at My Besties International. It runs the 1st until the 27 of the month. The challenge is always Anything Goes, but the theme if you wish to do is "Baby It's Cold Outside".

I used IMG182 on this card. I just loved her little winter hat and had to make a card using her! I had already seen this image done up it leopard print, and pink and black. I asked my daughter what colors she thought to use. She said snow leopard, so that's how this card was formed.
