This weeks challenge at My Sheri Crafts is: use an accordion/fan fold as one of your project's elements ... can be simply a strip, fan, rosette -- whatever you imagine!
I couldn't resist, I made two cards for it! :)
The first card, I wanted to show the rosette as more of an embellishment! I was trying to show a little bit of different ways you can use a rosette on your cards!
Magnoia- Rubber Stamp
Spellbinders- Labels Twenty Two
Scalloped Circles (flower)
SB Shapeabilities- Fancy Tags Two
SB M-Bossabilities- Regal
JustRite Cling- Always and Forever Medallion Labels
Ticking Stripe Background Stamp
Memory Box- Locina Buckle
Westwater Enterprises- (Birth) Stamp
MS- Branch Punch
The Paper Studio- Wood Grain embossing folder
Brilliance Pigment Ink pad- Pearlescent Orchid
Stickles- Crystal
Copics, and Glitter
Second card:
MS Punch- Garden Trellis
JustRite Cling- Always and Forever Medallion Labels
On both of my cards I used paper from DCWV- Blossoms & Butterflies Stack, Glittered & Foiled!
Lets see what you come up with for using an accordian, or fan fold on your card/project! Don't forget to go and have a look at what our GD, and DT came up with! Show them some love!
Hugs,
Sandy.
Sandy, both your cards are so pretty! The rosette is indeed a versatile design element and I loved it both as an embellishment and as a focal point.
ReplyDeleteWow, Sandy, BOTH cards are totally sweet, but I'm very partial to the lacy rosette on your second card -- sooo BEAUTIFUL and very CLEVER!!!
ReplyDeleteWow Sandy, You went all out on this challenge. Booth of the cards are so pretty. All of the details of your easel card are wonderful. I love the image and your beautiful coloring. The colors are so pretty and happy. And your second card is just elegant with that gorgeous rosette and pretty Just Rite stamp. And again, your coloring is beautiful.
