My Sheri Crafts Challenge #86- Summer Lovin'

This week at http://myshericrafts.blogspot.com/ we were asked to make a project with a summer theme...cards, layouts, altered project, etc. I knew right away I wanted to make an easel card with a drawer! I have been really wanting to make one, but saved it for this theme!

Hmm, what else does my beached theme project need? Yep, I  just had to put shells on it! I did kind of cheat on this one! In the center I used a snowflake die cut because it looked like a captains wheel to me, lol! I found this wonderful free coloring page with the beach scene on it! I really couldn't wait to color it with my copics! I now have this setting on my dresser and it makes me excited for our next vacation!

  2. Never heard of an easel with a drawer -- how FUN is that?! LOVE that sweet image, Sandy, and your seashell border. I too have always thought of that snowflake die as a boat wheel -- totally -- too funny -- 'great minds'???!!! ;~)
