Pink Gems Challenge- #235

This is my first post back from a long break for Christmas at A Gem of A Challenge.
We were asked to make anything winter/birthday, but the challenge is always Anything Goes.

One of my daughter in laws birthday is this month so I thought this was a perfect time for me to make a birthday card for her.

Lil Patch of Crafty Friends C#97- A

Happy New Year!
Today is my first blog post in the new year. We started a new challenge at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends. The sponsor is: Imagine That digistamp

I was given a big pack to work with called Flamingo Beach. I mean look at all the stuff it comes with. :)

I had bought Hide Tides stamp set from Stampin Up quite awhile back and thought it would be perfect to use for a scene with the flamingo. I also used Studio R that came with an assortment of stamps and used the little sailboat with it. The stitched clouds came from Jaded Blossom.

I colored the flamingo with Copics and Faber Castell colored pencils. They seem to have brighter more vibrant colors in those pencils.
